You get used to transforming them after a while so it gets easier as you learn the patterns. I know whats it like though, I've spent an entire evening trying to figure the buggers out. Kids never fail to surprise with me their intelligence. Whilst you two were scratching your heads the kid was probably reading up on quantum mechanics

The kid was on the iPad doing puzzles. He was looking at us, mocking us!! Like I say, kudos to you lot for having the patience, im just lucky Im obsessive about finishing things or I would have smashed the bugger up. I don't know if you know the figure but he turns into a cement truck and a scorpion

It sounds like the movie version of Mixmaster: Generally most Transformers are symmetrical which helps make the transforming easier, The only Transformer I've had problems with transforming is the Reveal the Shield Wreck-Gar.

The classics were always easy to do. I had a nightmare with some of the Binaltech Alternators.

I only ever bought one Alternator & I can't remember if he was problematic to transform.

I think Hasbros shoddy distribution of the line pissed me off so I didn't bother with later releases.

Transforming the G1 figures were a breeze. Doing the Alternators was damn near impossible. Most of them I spent nearly an hour getting them in robot mode & left them there. The later ones I still have boxed. The Masterpiece are tricky, too, because some parts are highly breakable. And then there's the time I nearly sliced a finger off & had to go to the emergency trying to get the red cap off Megatron's nozzle.
